The Future of Different Languages in TL .AVI

The kids try to speak languages in TL. They start to talk to each other in Bahasa Indonesia, Tetun, Portuguese and Naueti (their local language). From these kids, you will find the future of languages in TL by looking at what kind of language they speak and learn quickly. If the policy makers do not adjust their policy in terms of language to the reality of these kids, then I can imagine the resistance against the language pushed upon them like Portuguese in the future. They will grow up hate the Portuguese just like the generation grew up and studied during Indonesian time. TL Constitution can force Timorese to speak Portuguese, but it seems it didn’t reflect the reality of the Timorese. Constitution says one thing; people on the ground do the other. TL will be a failed state and keep failing if this phenomenon continues. The kids in this video all born after ’99: 1. Lenny (9 yrs) 2. Jenny (9 yrs) 3. Delinho (8 yrs) 4. Jojo (6 yrs) 5. Maiela (3yrs) Indonesian language: Amazingly, they pick up Indonesian just by watching Indonesian TV and I only found out how fluent they are when speaking Indonesian. I wasn’t spoke Indonesian like them when I am their age. Tetun: They fluent. No doubt! Portuguese: see yourself! Naueti: You can see they speak Naueti too because this is our local language. If we keep pushing …
