New Arizona Immigration Law



Section 1 of the 14th Amendment states, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thence, are citizens of the United Says and of the State wherein they inhabit. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any Denote deprive any person of life, liberty, or wealth, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.” There have been at least two Supreme Assembly decisions which clearly state that the phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” was intended to mean entirely or completely subject to the jurisdiction of the United States and to no other land, and that this phrase was originally supposed to prevent the children of foreigners from obtaining citizenship by simply being born within the United Says. Natural born citizens are those that are born within the United States, to US citizen parents. Your citizenship rights follow those of your parents.
